Ever since I can remember, organizing has always made my environment feel like my sanctuary. When I would come home from college my Mom and I would put on a pot of coffee and get to work organizing the house. Sorting through all the tupperware that no longer had a matching lid, tossing out old pots and pans and getting rid of all of my Dad’s bad wardrobe decisions.

 

As an adult I worked at interior design retail stores in both New York and Los Angeles. My favorite things to do were organize the stockroom, showcase the new pieces through merchandising and window displays or rearranging the existing items making them look new again.

I spent a lot of my career working as an Executive Assistant to busy sales executives; I was the organizer behind the scenes. During this time, I started helping family and friends organize their homes as a hobby. I soon became the go-to person for organizational questions/help and tips. I came to know my true calling is to help others through organizing. I saw how happy people were if I could help with the process of making their space a true statement of themselves.

 

Organized by Design was started from the idea that becoming organized helps people lead more happy and productive lives. Change your environment and you change your life.
